April 2nd, 2016 - Making his 2016 season debut, Clay Fisher traveled to Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas) on Friday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season-opener. Drawing thirty-one entries, Fisher was running in second until another competitor made contact with him, sending him to the tail. Transferring into the B-Main for one more shot at the $2,000-to-win feature, Clay came up short of a transfer position into the main event.

Continuing with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Clay headed to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for another $2,000-to-win A-Main. Recording a 3rd place finish in his heat, Fisher earned a 13th place starting spot for the feature. With $2,000 on the line, Clay Fisher gained two spots notching a 11th place finish.
