July 30th, 2016 - Powering his Fisher Transportation Services #99 Super Late Model, Clay Fisher invaded Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned program. In a field of 24 cars, Fisher stormed to a dash win securing his spot into the main event. With $2,500 on the line, the bad luck continued for Clay when he had to pull off after his radiator cap was knocked loose.

July 3rd, 2016 - Back with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Clay Fisher kicked off the 4th of July weekend by traveling to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday for the opening night of the CCSDS triple-header. Competing in a field of nineteen cars, Fisher stormed to an 8-lap heat race win giving him a 2nd place starting spot for the feature alongside Brian Rickman. After jumping out to the lead early in the feature, Clay suffered a broken axle sending him back to a 16th place outing.

The following night brought Clay to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) where his bad luck continued. Running in 1st in his heat, Fisher broke a drive shaft and his transmission bringing an early end to his night.

Concluding the three-day CCSDS 4th of July weekend, Fisher stopped at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for another $2,000-to-win A-Main. Registering a 3rd place finish in his heat, Clay was slated to start 12th for the main event. Working his way into the top ten, Clay Fisher reeled in a 8th place finish in the 35-lap affair.
