September 24th, 2016 - Piloting the Fisher Transportation Services #99 Super Late Model, Clay Fisher traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday for the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. Drawing 62 cars for the two-day unsanctioned weekend, Fisher fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place outing. Transferring into the B-Main for one last shot at the $20,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Fisher logged a 7th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

September 4th, 2016 - Running in the three-day COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) weekend, Clay Fisher headed to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Friday night for the Labor Day Classic. With 33 Super Late Models signed in for the opening night A-Main, Fisher landed a Top 5 finish in the feature. Battling for a $3,000 payday, Clay posted a 5th place finish behind Eric Cooley, Chandler Petty, Shannon Scott, and Kyle Beard.

On Saturday Fisher traveled to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for a chance at a $2,500 payday. Placing 2nd in his heat behind Mason Oberkramer, Clay rolled off 5th for the main event. Hanging on to a Top 10 finish, Clay Fisher notched a 7th place finish.

Closing out the busy Labor Day Weekend, Fisher stopped at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday for another $2,500-to-win A-Main. Recording a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Chandler Petty, Clay earned the 6th-starting position for the 35-lap feature. Breaking into the Top 5, Clay Fisher registered a 4th place finish behind Hunter Rasdon, B.J. Robinson, and Jack Sullivan with Ray Moore coming in 5th. (Woody Hampton Photos)
